If you’re a single lady feeling looked over in your search for Mr.Right, we may just have some good news for you.
According to a new survey from Match.com – looks are not the most important thing single men consider when getting into a relationship.
In fact when 5,000 single men were surveyed about what they’re looking for in a relationship, looks only scraped it into the top 5 factors.
The relationship must haves all come down to personality, with 98% of men saying the most important thing for them is finding a partner that treats them with respect. This was closely followed by 97% of men saying they want to find a partner they can trust and confide in, and 95% looking for someone who can openly communicate their wants and needs.

A partner with a sense of humour grabbed fourth place with 91% ticking this in their list of priorities.
These four attributes beat out the “is physically attractive to me,” option, which although 89% of men wanted, didn’t make it their top priority.
For fans of ‘He’s Just Not That Into You’, it turns out that being a single, successful career lady is definitely not an issue for why he’s not calling you back.
90% of men surveyed said they would date someone who made more money than them, with 86% happy to date a woman with a higher education.
Although we’re all about women making things happen for themselves, it’s nice to know it’s not a total uphill battle when it comes to love.
Just as well we’re a bunch of hilariously, intelligent, trustworthy women.
