Ever wondered why YouTube videos stall at 301+ views for what seems like forever?
Well there’s actually a very specific reason for this minor but real irritation.
Once a video gets to the infamous 301 views, YouTube actually stops the count to check how many views are genuine and how many are spam.

The reason behind the 301+ stall.
However, the video-streaming site announced this week that they will now check for spammers in real-time, meaning the hiatus in view counts will be a thing of the past.
