X Factor bosses want to bring back dead stars using controversial holograms next season.
Producers on the talent show hope to use likenesses of Michael Jackson and Amy Winehouse to sing with contestants this year.
A source told The Sun: “The ‘X Factor’ has to keep getting better so they are looking at holograms as a way of creating a splash.
“Imagine Elvis or Amy Winehouse at the grand final. It would be incredible TV and an amazing experience for contestants.
“The technology’s there and has been used on several big stages. The ‘X Factor’ final is perfect for something like this,” the source said.

Amy Winehouse’s father Mitch would like to see her reincarnated as a hologram
Superstar Celine Dion recently took to the stage with a hologram of Elvis Presley and rapper Tupac was brought back to life using the technology at music festival Coachella in April.
Mitch Winehouse, father of the late Amy said he would like to see his daughter reincarnated as a hologram.
“The most important thing to Amy was the music and I’m sure a lot of people would like to hear her sing again,” he said.
