Mel B has been offered a job by X Factor bosses but only if she quits the Australian version of the show.
The singer, who reunited with The Spice Girls at the Olympic Closing Ceremony earlier this month, featured on the season nine premiere on Saturday.
Mel B shocked contestants with her honesty and her attitude impressed the judges greatly.
However, Mel was too busy filming in Australia to take up a full time position next to Gary Barlow so Pussycat Doll Nicole Scherzinger was shipped in instead.

According to The Irish Sun, an ITV insider said: “Mel was our first choice. She was so quick and honest. You can’t let everyone down gently or the praise is meaningless.
“There’s a lot of money on the table for her next year.”
Fans took to Twitter during the weekend to discuss how much they preferred Mel to Nicole.
Meanwhile, the former Spice Girl spent the weekend in Prague before flying into Sydney yesterday supporting a bandage on her face.
The singer said she took a tumble while on holiday and joked “I’m wearing Prague on my face.”
