If you’ve been on the Internet today, chances are you’ll have seen the new John Lewis Christmas ad.
The clip, featuring Monty The Penguin, is a little bit brilliant but spare a thought for poor John Lewis from Virginia, who is facing yet another year of unwanted attention due to his high-street namesake.
Enthusiatic fans have spent all morning tagging @johnlewis in their tweets about the ad but the handle actually belongs to the father-of-four, with the store tweeting from @johnlewisretail.
However, John is taking it all in his stride and has had some brilliant comebacks for those getting in touch.
