It’s unclear as to whether she’ll be on the judging panel or behind-the-scenes but it has been revealed that Simon Cowell wants Kate Moss on The X Factor next year!
Apparently the 53-year-old music mogul wants the model to join the talent show to get the contestants up to scratch in terms of style.
While she might not be as good a singer as Tulisa Contostavlos (notice how we used the term ‘might’ there), Kate would certainly make the wardrobe battle interesting again.
We would love to see Kate Moss and Nicole Sherzinger’s wardrobes battle it out.
“Simon is looking at ways of refreshing the show and one idea he will bring to the table is getting Kate Moss on board,” an insider told the Daily Mirror.
“He knows how important the styling of the contestants is and having a supermodel and a world-famous name on board would certainly raise the bar.”
Simon will have some tough decisions to make in the New Year.
Nothing has been confirmed yet in terms of who will return to the show but talks between Simon and executive producer Richard Holloway are to take place in January.
So far there have been rumours that Tulisa will be axed, Cheryl Cole will return, Nicole Sherzinger could be tempted by a big pay packet and Gary Barlow won’t have time.
Whatever happens, we’re sure Simon is happy to keep people guessing for now but we’re also sure that he’s going to have to pull out all the stops to turn around the show’s fortunes.
