Californian firefighters have rescued a woman who was trapped in the chimney of her ex-boyfriend’s home.
It is thought that the 35-year-old arrived at the house to find the door was locked.
She then climbed onto the roof and tried to get in through the house via the chimney.
According to various reports, the woman removed her clothes in a bid to make her descent down the chimney easier.
Tony Hernandez said he woke up at 5am last Saturday to hear his ex-partner calling for help.
“She said, ‘I’m trapped in the chimney.’ So I tried to get her out but it was too hard,” he told CBS Los Angeles.
He tried to free her but when this didn’t work, he rang his local fire department.

They had to break open the chimney and it took over two hours to free her.
She was taken to hospital for treatment for injuries classed as minor to moderate.
Fire officials posted pictures of the rescue, which took place in Rancho Viejo Drive, Woodcrest on Twitter.
Mr Hernandez said that the woman is the mother of his three children but she is not permitted to see them at the moment.
“I don’t like the way she’s acting or what she’s doing. That’s not good for my kids” he said.
