Marina Voinova didn’t see a lovely snap of her home when she searched for her address on the Russian version of Google Maps as she had expected.
Instead she saw her other half of five years with his arms around a mystery woman.
The 24-year-old office worker was apparently searching for her address on Yandex maps (which only blurs out people’s faces on request) when she spotted her fiancé Sasha with a brunette.
Marina recognised her boyfriend because of the sling he was wearing.
She told Life News: “First I noticed a familiar silhouette (and) I thought how could someone look so similar to my Sasha?
“I looked more carefully, zoomed in, saw it was indeed him and indeed her. I realised that he was lying and cheating on me all this time.”
She was at work when she saw the image and became very upset.
When Marina got home from work, she confronted her beau who confessed after seeing the evidence with his own eyes.
“When Sasha came home, I immediately called him to the computer and asked him to find that address in the map… When the image loaded, Sasha’s face changed in colour. I looked in his eyes, waiting for explanations,” she said.
Despite begging for her forgiveness, Marina decided to call off the wedding and left Sasha. Wonder if she’ll ever use Yandex again?
