A woman developed ‘teeth’ on her vagina and injured her partner

Yikes!

A woman in the UK injured her partner’s penis because of the ‘teeth-like’ structures in her vagina.

According to The Mirror, Teresa Bartram got surgery on her vagina to combat incontinence and to improve her sex life. The surgery consisted of a plastic mesh sling, called a ‘transvaginal tape’, being inserted into her vagina. It’s placed under the urethra to keep it in a normal position.

Two years later, after what she thought was a successful surgery, it suddenly stopped working and developed sharp ‘teeth’. Teresa says that the mesh from the tape was the cause of the injury.

She said:

“It was like it had grown teeth. His willy was bright red and spouting blood.

There was a big red stain spreading between us on the sheets.

After that he was scared of my lady garden and approached it as if it was a Venus flytrap and he was a fly.”

At first, the doctors said that the mesh was working and that it was nothing to worry about, but after Teresa had other complications they realised that the mesh had secured itself to her pelvis through cartilage and had turned hard.

She had the tape removed but it has been left incontinent.

There is a campaign in the UK to have the procedure banned.
