Katy Perry has retired her famous spinning peppermint dress after it was established it was a safety hazard.
The outfit was put to bed after it emerged that Perry’s hair often got tangled in its spinning bra feature.
Katy told The Sun: “My hair got caught in the wheels of my spinning peppermint bra and began to coil around and around. I’m forced to just go with it so, by the end of the song, it looked quite like I was licking my own [bleep]. What a girl does for her art.”
We’ll miss our favourite finger lickingly good outfit but in the spirit of things we’ve come up with some crazy performers who have donned wacky outfits on the main stage.
