Who Claimed Top Spot? World’s Top 50 Restaurants Revealed

El Celler de Can Roca has been knocked off the pedestal. Danish restaurant Noma has taken back the crown as the world’s best restaurant!

The 45-seat restaurant headed by chef René Redzepi  is based in Copenhagen and is famous for reinventing Nordic cuisine.

“We didn’t expect it at all, we thought we had had our moment on this list. I know that for the team, this is the biggest moment” said Redzepi following the announcement.

The two Michelin star restaurant was in the shadow of its Spanish rival who had topped the list for three consecutive years.
