When one Texas student had her license suspended after refusing to a breathalyser test, she got very creative.
Tara Monroe was given a bicycle to get to and from university after her car was confiscated, but instead decided on a set of wheels that was more suited to her personality – namely, a hot pink Barbie jeep.

Speaking to San Antonio Express News, Tara explained: “Riding a bike around campus sucks. Like really sucks. “This is the best way I could have gotten my 15 minutes of fame,’ she said. ‘Basically, it was the best decision I’ve made in college, yet.”

Tara purchased the hot wheels on Craigslist for $60.
The jeep christened “Charlene” racks up a top speed of 5 mph.
