We’re loving Whatsapp’s latest update.
It lets you bold, italicise AND strikethrough words on the messaging app.
It’s quite simple to do too. First, you need to update the app then you add the new formatting to your messages.

For bold you simply put asterisks on either side of the word. (*bold* = bold)
If you want to italicise you put underscores on either side of the word. (_italics_ = italics)
Finally, if you really want to mess with your friends you can strikethrough text by putting a ~ in front and behind the word. (~strikethrough~ = strikethrough)
The only catch is that the receiver has to have the latest update of the app to see the new changes to the formatting.
