Do you wish you could climb to the top on your chosen career ladder? Do you want to feel a greater sense of job security? If the answer is yes, then there are only two skills that you need to learn.
According to a new study, most women believe that flexibility and adaptability are the top two skills they need to succeed in their workplace. (Oh and it also helps if you have a good knowledge of technology and are good with team work too).
The study, which was commissioned by US company Randstad, revealed that taking on the skills mentioned above has had a positive effect on women and nearly three-quarters of the women surveyed said that they now have a strong sense of job security as a result of learning these key skills.
However, nearly half of the women polled stated that they still plan to keep their options open and explore other career paths available to them.
“Women are taking on leadership roles and advancing to the top levels of organizations faster than ever before,” said Linda Galipeau, Randstad CEO of North America, speaking to the Huffington Post.
“It is, therefore, critical that companies not lose sight of what it takes to successfully identify, retain and engage high potential women,” she added.
