What a cracker!
Ireland’s Under 17 squad kicked off their UEFA Championship Elite qualifying round with a bang on Thursday evening at Turner’s Cross, courtesy of a cracking goal from 15-year-old Saoirse Noonan.
Ireland finished the game 2-0 up thanks to two first half goals from Eleanor Ryan-Doyle and Noonan.

The latter’s goal stunned spectators as she lobbed the ball over the keeper’s head into the back of the net.
