Westboro Baptist Church is known for having controversial views. You might remember The Rubberbandits replied to one of their tweets recently. Well the band is not alone as Anonymous have decided to hit back as well by hacking their Facebook page.
The online group has been posting a number of images and videos contradicting the church’s so-called beliefs including pictures of inspirational figures such as Martin Luther King.
It comes after the WBC tweeted about the Boston bombings earlier this week. They wrote: “Thank God for the Boston Marathon Bombs!! WestboroBaptistChurch to picket funeral of those killed. #PraiseGod”.
Anonymous replied to the tweet with a warning: “If #WBC protest the Boston funerals, they will have to expect us”.
But it seems they didn’t take heed…
UPDATE: Apparently the Facebook page isn’t the WBC’s official page but it certainly has everyone fooled today. We’ll keep you posted on what comes next…

Anonymous posted inspirational quotes on the page.

They got a lot of support from Facebook users.

The group sent a warning to WBC on Twitter yesterday.
