These are a few of our favourite things… this week at least.

Movie moment
This week, Sue caught the new Alexander Payne film Nebraska. Starring Bruce Dern, the film follows an elderly man who thinks he has won 1 million dollars and must get to Nebraska to pick up his winnings, with plenty of adventures along the way.

Christmas Tunes!
Christmas FM was launched this week and the ladies of Her.ie couldn’t be happier. For the first time in months silence fell in the office as the team put on the head phones and tuned in for some festive classics. If Grace had her way Mariah Carey’s ‘All I want for Christmas’ would be on repeat.

New beauty regime?
If there’s one person who will be prepared for the festive party season, it’s Rebecca who is looking forward to putting her TanOrganic self-tan to good use. She might not have her Christmas outfit sorted yet but at least she knows what her beauty regime is going to be!

Toys, Toys, Toys
Cathy is looking forward to the toy show tonight seeing as it officially kicks off the Irish Christmas. She can’t wait to see what’s in store this year and how Fergal performs as Ryan Tubridy’s co host. We will be following all the action live from Her.ie towers so make sure to keep an eye on our Twitter and Facebook.

Simply, Not Lost
This week Úna finished Sarah Maria Griffin‘s fantastic book Not Lost, a novel based on her journey from Ireland to the US and life in San Franciso. Published by New Island, the book is beautifully written and is full of character and tender moments. It’s one that really does touch your heart.

Coffee connoisseur
Sue took a trip back to one of her favourite cafes in Dublin this week, Foam on 24 Strand Street. However, this time she discovered their chai latte, which is apparently amazing.

Gamers Unite
The PS4 launched this week, much to Úna’s joy! She recently got to test out the new console in the PS4 Rooms around the corner from Grafton Street and was very impressed by some of the console’s new features – especially the snazzy new controller.

Chocolate love
It’s probably obvious by now but Cathy is a big fan of the Christmas season which made her very happy this week when Sky sent us in some very yummy advent calendars filled with Lindt chocolate. There’s no better combination that Christmas and chocolate!

Book Awards
This week office bookworms Rebecca and Michelle enjoyed a lovely night out at the Irish Book Awards. As well as a delicious three-course meal the pair spent the night spotting celebrities and rubbing shoulders with some of Ireland’s finest authors.

Christmas Party In Your Mouth
Thanks to the folk at Keogh’s Farm we received a very special delivery during the week. A crate of festive crisps rolled into office and for a few moments, (the length of time it takes to munch through a packet) we enjoyed some turkey and secret stuffing flavoured crisps. The experience can only be described as a Christmas Party in your mouth.
