Weather To Turn Milder Towards The End Of The Week

YAY.

Cathy Donohue

As we all know, the last week has been absolutely freezing with temperatures as low as -5 degrees Celsius in some parts of the country.

We’ve had to pile on the layers and switch on the electric blankets but the good news is that’s set to change (or at least improve slightly) by the end of the week.

Tonight and tomorrow night will remain cold but Met Éireann says that by Wednesday, eastern areas of the country will experience “highs of 5 or 6 degrees Celsius”.

Things will be even better for those living in the southwest with the national forecaster predicting highs of “9 or 10 degrees Celsius”.

Of course, and it’s not much of a surprise, rain will make a return with scattered outbreaks from Thursday onwards.
