WATCH – This Vet Went The Extra Mile To Make This Rescue Pup Comfortable

This is too much.

A Facebook post from Granite Hills Animal Care in the State of Georgia has been shared thousands of times for a pretty adorable reason.

The video shows veterinarian Andy Mathis sitting in the cage with the rescue called Gracie, sharing breakfast with her to make her more comfortable.

When Graycie was first brought into the centre at the end of January, she was emaciated, dehydrated and hypothermic and it seemed like she would have to be euthanised.

Mathis and his friends helped to raise money through a crowdfunding scheme, and Graycie was brought to a veterinary hospital to be evaluated and treated.

Over the next few days, she made strides in her recovery, but one area she was still struggling with was eating so he came up with a great solution.

Mathis wrote on Facebook : “She’s been eating for the past 2 days, but not so comfortably, unless I leave the room, so today I decided to sit in the cage with her.”
