Today marks the 12th anniversary of the attacks on the Twin Towers in New York City. In 2004, construction began on a new World Trade Centre at Ground Zero.

This amazing video shows the construction of the new Centre over the last few years. The EarthCam clip included hundreds of thousands of photos taken of the site.

The new building looks magnificent.
