WATCH: The New Peta Vegan Ad Has Been Banned From Superbowl And We Can See Why

This was an odd choice...

It’s fair to say that the latest PETA ad has ruffled a few feathers.

The ad, which promotes a vegan lifestyle by suggesting that Vegans last longer in bed.

“Suggesting” is probably not a strong enough word for how they convey their not-so-subtle message.

Basically, they’ve chosen the medium of explicit sex.

The ad consists of a split screen with two couples having sex, one man is a meat-eater, the other is a vegan.

As the ad plays out, the meat-eater finishes up “the job” pretty early while his vegan counterpart continues what looks like some pretty good love-making.

In a pretty shocking twist, the meat eater then gets crushed by what appears to be a washing machine, while the vegan is still happily in the throes of sex.

Although the ad was produced for the Superbowl, it has now been banned because of its explicit content.

The Senior Vice president at PETA remains undeterred, however, and reckons that the Superbowl is missing out.

Sticking up for the ad, Lisa Lange said:

“Super Bowl 50 audiences will be missing out on comedy, sex appeal, and the lifesaving message that vegan meals can help clear clogged-up carnivores and get their blood pumping again.

“PETA’s edgy but crowd-pleasing TV spot shows that vegans may have a banana in their pajama pocket, just to snack on later, but they’re also really pleased to see you.”
