A new Huggies Brazil campaign shows a visually-impaired mother ‘seeing’ her baby boy’s face for the first time during an ultrasound, thanks to advanced 3D printing technology.
Thirty-year-old Tatiana Guerra was diagnosed with optic neuritis at the age of 17. It causes inflammation of the optic nerve and can lead to blindness.
The footage shows Tatiana asking her daughter to describe what the baby looks like during her first ultrasound.
Little did she know that a team were busy constructing a 3D mould of her son’s face, inscribed with the words “I am your son” in Braille.
This is seriously sweet.
