Six months ago, Ilene Ortiz bought a second-hand record when she discovered a hidden love letter in the sleeve.
After being moved to tears, Ortiz from Westminster, Colorado decided she needed to track down the original author.
Bill Moore, who is now 90-years old, wrote a sweet letter to his “darling, lovable, alluring, Bernadean” in 1944, met the love of his life while serving in WWII.
When both Bill and Bernadean survived the war, they married… and spent 63 years together before she passed away in 2010.
