This is a fearful flyer’s worst nightmare.
When one passenger decided to film take off, he inadvertently captured a pretty disconcerting moment.
The footage shows the moment two panels fall from one of the engines, just seconds before the plane left the ground at Santiago airport, Chile.
We’re no experts, but we’re pretty sure this isn’t supposed to happen.
According to news site Tele13, the plane returned to the airport where most of the passengers were transferred to another flight.
