He danced with the bride and even bought a round of drinks!
Just when we thought we couldn’t love him anymore… Jimmy Carr gatecrashed a wedding in Killarney over the weekend.
Not only that, but he got up and joined the bride, Aoife Waters, for a dance.
Eimear Healy, who sent the video into us on Facebook, confirmed what we always knew, Jimmy is a bit of legend.
“He was great craic to say the least and made the day even more special,” Eimear said.
The happy couple Aoife and Billy Waters, both from Charleville, Co. Cork, were delighted when the star joined their celebrations on Saturday.
Jimmy was doing a stand-up gig in the INEC that night when he went back to his hotel, The Brehan, where their wedding was on.
A group from the wedding party noticed Jimmy in the lobby and invited him into the wedding for a drink, to which he politely declined. They took the opportunity to grab a quick selfie and carried on celebrating.
A little while later Jimmy was obviously in the mood for dancing and wandered into the wedding, of his own accord.
He danced with the bride, as seen in the video, to “I’ve Had The Time Of My Life”.
After that, he kindly bought the bride and groom a drink and toasted to them. He continued to mingle with the guests and posing for pictures.
What a legend!
