Right when Derby the dog had given up hope that he’d ever be able to run like the other dogs, his owners enlisted the help of specialists to help him sprint.
Hoping to start Derby up on his journey, foster owner Tara Anderson decided to try a cart first, but found the wheels were restrictive, and Derby couldn’t play with other animals.
After research and working with a 3D tech company, Tara was able to fit Derby with his very own prosthetic legs – which although took him a while to adapt to, felt like second nature to the inquisitive pup.
