Are you finishing up your degree this year with absolutely no idea what to do with yourself? Welcome to the club, friends. That summer spent interrailing around Eastern Europe was unbelievable, the J1 where you slept on a blow-up bed in a room with five of your friends was on another level, and that Erasmus year in France/Italy/Spain was life-changing, but now suddenly it’s time to join the real world.
Well, sort of. Whether you’re leaving behind The Pav, The Stables or The Clubhouse, it’s probably time to start having a think about what you want to get up to when you finish that final exam in the RDS, Leisureland or the Aula Maxima. And you know what? We might have just the thing for you to consider.
The 2015 Jameson Graduate Programme is open for applications and we have to say it sounds pretty snazzy. Jameson offers two unique graduate programmes, so you can choose depending on your field of expertise (that’s right, you’ve got a degree now so that makes you an expert). The Brand Ambassador Programme focuses on business and marketing with languages while the Distiller Programme recruits from a science, energy and sustainability or engineering background. Sure there’s something for everyone in there.
The programme has been operating for over 23 years (so it’s probably older than all of you), and there are currently 77 graduates placed in 41 countries (we’re talking Belgium, Brazil, India and South Korea to name just a few) around the world. What’s more, over 50 per cent of the current International Marketing team is made up of current or former Jameson graduates. Sweet, right?
