People spend a helluva lot of money on weddings so it makes sense that they would want to show off how amazing their big day is.
However, while some people are happy with a standard wedding video or a cheeky selfie at the reception, it seems that others are hell bent on making sure they are the talk of social media by the time they’re cutting into that three-tier cake. Hotel chain W Hotels recently circulated an email to its clients informing them that they now offer the services of a ‘social media concierge’ for weddings, with the expert creating a bespoke hashtag and making sure that the event is covered on sites like Twitter and Instagram. The service is available for receptions at four of the brand’s hotels in New York at a bargain price of $3,000.
