The cast of the Vagina Monologues at the college of Connecticut, America, decided to ask 100 different male students, “why vaginas are important”. Cue a few red faces and very odd replies.
The lads give a fairly mixed response, however it has to be said our answer comes from an Irish lad, “Vagina are a creative medium, you can shave them, pierce them, you can like, do all sorts of things, like tattoos I’m sure maybe.”
The video, which celebrates the vagina, also raises awareness to the more serious issue of gender-based violence. The women hope the video encourages more men to get involved with the ‘V-Day’ domestic violence awareness campaign.
