We’ve had glitter roots, glitter beards, glitter armpits and now the latest in glitter beauty trends is the glitter brow.
The below video, featured on Buzzfeed, shows what happened when these ladies give the trend a whirl.
Unfortunately, they used eyelash glue to apply the glitter, making removal very complicated.
Makeup expert Ricky Wilson spoke to Refinery 29 and explained that lash glue is made of latex which shouldn’t be used for hair.
“Lash glue is made of latex, which is designed to be adhered to skin and not hair.
“If this isn’t removed properly, it will take out hair along with the glitter and/or crystals”.
If you really want to try the trend out, makeup artist Romany Najor says that water-soluble glue is best as it can be removed with soap and water.
In saying that, it’s a beauty trend we won’t be trying at home.
