We all have that one friend who’s always on the latest health-kick and telling you the amazing benefits of said diet. But how often do you actually question them about their new-found nutritional advice?
Although some people can’t eat gluten for medical reasons, the lifestyle choice to go gluten-free has been popularised by fitness experts and weight-loss groups.
Apart from knowing it’s in bread and pasta, most people find it difficult to break down a definition for the diet demon.
So, Jimmy Kimmel sent a camera crew to a Los Angeles park to ask people who admit to choosing a gluten-free diet:
“What is gluten?”
Most people went so far as to hazard a guess, but we’ll let you see just how many got it right.
For anyone who does want to know, gluten is a protein composite found in foods processed from wheat and related grains.
