Nerd girls of the world, unite!
This epic video aimed at those who undermine or bully ‘nerdy’ girls about their interests features proud self-proclaimed geeks holding up homemade signs about their experiences as women in nerd culture.
The video, which has been viewed over 850,000 times in the past two weeks, is the result of a project by The Doubleclicks, a bandof two sisters who also perfirm the anthem. The sisters took submissions for on their last nationwide tour and online, and received ‘somewhere between 150-250 geek girl videos’.
Some celebs even got in on the act, including director Amy Berg and Big Bang Theory star Wil Wheaton.
