That fear is there in all of us…
We all live in dread of the day that we realize we’ve turned into our mammies.
Don’t get us wrong, we love them to pieces, but there’s some phrases she said that haunted our youth and usually meant we weren’t going to get to go to the disco/sleepover/party that we wanted.
One singer has put all of our fears into words though with a brilliantly penned song dedicated to her mother and we are loving it.
I AM MY MOTHER. Happy Birthday, Mam! 🙂
