We’ve all made mistakes, so there can be no harsh judgement of BBC Breakfast’s Charlie Stayt, but for most of us the audience is mercifully limited and the subject matter is far less delicate.
Stayt was hosting the show with Naga Munchetty on Saturday morning when her made a very unfortunate gaffe while reporting on the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s tour of Australia and New Zealand.
Apparently, William was once in the IRA. We’re willing to bet even Kate didn’t know that about him…
