Two Abandoned Dogs Helped Heal Each Other’s Wounds After Becoming Friends In ER

For anyone who has a pet, you’ll know that along with the warmth, joy and love they bring to a family, they also take a lot of time and need a lot of attention.

They deserve to be treated with warmth, care, love and dedication.

Unfortunately for these two dogs – their owners never respected them enough to make that commitment to minding them.

According to Distractify, Olaf was abandoned at a shelter in New York City in late December with a severely infected wound on his leg caused by a venomous snake bite.

Tiny Mariah was found abandoned on Christmas Eve in a car park. She was suffering from hypothermia and was covered in her own faeces.

Both pups were brought to the Second Chance Rescue, where they were cleaned and cared for by staff… but it was the love they had for each other that really helped heal their wounds.

Staff said the pair soon became inseparable – forming a bond that helped them trust one another.

They even took to sleeping, playing and cuddling together while they both recuperated at the shelter.

According to the Second Chance Rescue, the pair are now working on getting back to their full health – together.
