Such a lovely idea.
Alison Lenihan’s dog Meg passed away last year and to mark her one year anniversary pet, Alison set up a memorial.
Meg loved nothing more than to chase a tennis ball along the beach and so, Alison left a box full of tennis ball accompanied by a touching note at Port Eynon Bay.
Spotted on The South Wales Evening Post, the note reads:
“In memory of Meg.
“Please take a ball and enjoy a game with your dog in memory of our beautiful girl.
“Meg loved the beach and loved life! And we love and miss her. So much. 2001 — 2015 (March 31)”.
I am hoping all the balls get used and reused. Please keep sharing x https://t.co/VAwrnqFeZT

Alison hails from Swansea in Wales and she and Meg enjoyed many a walk along the Gower Peninsula, in particular Port Eynon.
Fitting then that Alison decided to leave the tribute to border collie Meg there.
