Have you seen new Batman flick The Dark Knight Rises yet? Don’t worry, we won’t give you any spoilers, but we have to say, Tom Hardy is amazing in it.
In fact, he looks completely unrecognisable, and, despite the fact that he plays the role of crazed villain Bane, we still definitely would. Definitely.
The Irish Independent reports that Tom has revealed that his young son is going absolutely mad to see his dad in action on the big screen.
Unfortunately for little Louis Hardy, he’ll have to wait a few years before he can see the final instalment of director Christopher Nolan’s Batman trilogy. Why? Well, it’s not really suitable for a four year old.
“I wish my son could see it. He can’t – he’s four and he’s really miserable,” said Tom when asked about the film’s 12A rating.
We all know what Louis will be getting for his 12th birthday – a copy of The Dark Knight Rises on dvd. Although we doubt he’ll even recognise his dad. Yes ladies, Tom’s transformation is that incredible. Honestly.

Speaking about bulking up in order to play the part of Bane, Tom said: “I pushed a lot of floor, I pushed a lot of weights, I ate a lot and I didn’t do any cardio for about a year.”
“I ended up being really fat and now I’m suffering the consequences,” he added.
Poor Tom. Still though, have you seen him lately? He looks amazing!
