We absolutely love mixing and matching flavours and foods here at the Her.ie towers, so when it came to writing up our favourites we were spoiled for choice.

From delectable medleys like apple and pork to curious choices like bananas and peanut butter  – Here are our top five food combinations:

Potatoes and Rosemary

Cooked twice, chips that are covered in rosemary leaves and sea salt are a delightful combination.

Bananas and Peanut Butter on Toast

Sounds unusual, but trust us on this one. Crisp up your toast, spread a layer of peanut butter and top it with sliced bananas. You’ll be wanting more and more.

Chocolate and Sea Salt

The unusual mix of dark chocolate and sea salt results in an unexpected fusion of bitter chocolate with an injection of salt – Delicious! (You can also combine sea salt and caramel for an equally tasty treat).

Apple and Pork

Succulent pork, apples and sweet onions. When teamed up this is an amazing dish served with a savoury-sweet sauce.

The smell of popcorn with delicious melted butter running throughout it is absolutely irresistible. Add in a few handfuls of Malteasers and you’re sorted for the evening.
