Looks like it’s mostly thriller season on the small screen these days. Here’s our picks of the best of TV for today.

Celebrity Masterchef Ireland –  RTÉ (4. 55pm)


The five remaining celebrity cooks are given the ultimate challenge in the kitchen but who will be on the chopping block?

The Bourne Identity – ITV2 (9.00pm)


The first in the Bourne trilogy, Matt Damon stars in a leading role as Jason Bourne, a man suffering from amnesia and targeted by assassins.

Mrs Brown’s Boys – BBC One (10.00pm)


Starring Brendan O’Carroll this episode focuses in on newlyweds Dermot and Maria arguing whether they should find a new home.

Homeland – RTÉ Two (11.35pm)


Dana pays a visit to the hospital and is taken aback at what she discovers. Thriller TV series starring Claire Danes and Damian Lewis.

Carlito’s Way – RTÉ (11.55pm)

For those staying up late watch Carlito’s Way, a detective thriller movie starring Al Pacino and Sean Penn, that will have you on the edge of your seat.
