Three Weather Warnings Issued Ahead Of Storm Henry

Storm Henry is due to hit Ireland tonight and Met Éireann has issued a number of weather warnings.

Gale force winds and heavy rain are on the cards with coastal counties likely to be the worst affected by the eighth storm this winter.

A Status Orange Wind Alert has been issued for Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork, Kerry and Limerick

Leinster, Cavan, Monaghan, Roscommon, Tipperary and Waterford are under a Status Yellow Wind Warning.

Waves may reach ‘exceptional heights’ along Atlantic coasts with Donegal, Galway, Leitrim, Mayo, Sligo, Clare, Cork and Kerry likely to be affected.
