Thousands Of People Fooled Into Sharing This Image Of A Dog

Everyone, meet HamDog.

Laura Holland

Everyone, meet Hamdog.

A lot of people, and we mean a lot, were fooled into giving their condolences to a ‘wounded’ dog by sharing an image of it.

The picture has since gone viral after it was posted to Facebook with the caption, “This poor dog was badly burned and disfigured trying to save his family from a house fire. One like = one prayer. One share = ten prayers.”

Stephen Roseman, from North Carolina, posted the picture to his Facebook page and within a week it’s already been shared by over 100,000 people.

What people failed to realise was that the dog in question had, in fact, never been badly burned and instead had a piece of ham placed over his face. While some people have copped that it was a joke, others are continuing to send their messages of support for ‘hamdog’.
