This video showing an orphaned sea otter is guaranteed to melt your heart. In fact, we’d be tempted to get on a plane to Chicago just to see the bundle of fluff in person.
The pup was apparently rescued and transported from a beach in California to Shedd Aquarium where it has been receiving a lot of care and attention from its new family.
This clip shows it getting used to the water (which it doesn’t seem to be too keen on) and falling asleep in someone’s arms (we dare you not to put your hand to your chest and sigh).
We think sea otters might just be our new favourite animal.
