This is Bonsai.
He is an English bulldog from Arkansas who hasn’t had the greatest of starts in life.
He was born, in April, with a combination of rare genetic disorders which have affected his quality of life.
According to the Facebook page dedicated to him, he came into the world with half his spine, no pelvis and malformed rear legs.
Unaware of how best to take care of him, his owners contacted Friends of Emma, an organisation which helps dogs with special needs.
Since then, they have been taking care of him and have set up a fundraising page in the hope of raising money for his future treatment.
Little Bonsai, who looks undeterred by his troubles, still has a long way to go but it seems plenty of people (including the Her.ie team) are wishing him all the very best.
