We had a nasty premonition of us standing at the bar ordering constant rounds for all the gang because “It’s the weekend!” or because “Sure it’s payday in two weeks!”…Don’t ignore your emergency fund, just hide it in your handbag.

It’s Monday and the novelty of it being a long weekend is wearing off fast. Resist the urge to head downtown with the money you’ve saved over the weekend. Think “free activity” and head to the park with friends or the beach with your man for a fresh air-filled walk. Blow the cobwebs away and you’ll be refreshed for Tuesday morning again.
