It may be one of the newest social media apps, but the Snapchat obsession is real.
We all have a friend who documents probably a bit too much of their life on their story, but the latest feature is about to be your new pet peeve.
This week Snapchat decided to introduce a new design to the app – by prominently featuring their live events and Discover feature in amongst your contacts’ stories list.

The latest move means users will be subject to a series of selected media partners and paid-for content without the option of switching back onto the main page of the stories they actually want to see.
Since the design has been introduced, Snapchat’s popularity has begun to plummet in Apple’s App Store, with more than 2,000 one-star reviews complaining about the latest advertising technique.
While we won’t be ceasing to snap just yet, we’ve already found our finger slipping onto the wrong story… and we’re NOT impressed.
