This Is The Biggest Turn-Off For Online Daters…

Could this be standing in the way of you and your perfect date?

You can spend hours choosing the perfect pictures, think long and hard about each of those subject fields and even work on your texting small-talk to impress any possible suitors…

There’s only one catch. If you have poor grammar, you’re more likely to irritate a date than initiate a match.

A new survey conducted by Match.com looked at the dating habits of 5,000 single people in the U.S, and discovered that our pet peeve of poor grammar could be the biggest factor standing between you and your perfect match.

While the biggest physical turn-off was poor hygiene *gag*, 88 per cent of women and 75 per cent of men said poor grammar was enough to give any potential partner the heave-ho.

What might be more shocking for some, is that grammar was ranked more important in a potential suitor than confidence or teeth.

So as well as paying close attention to detail, what other online peeves were turning people away from a date with a special someone?

Knowing to turn off the CAPS button could save you a swipe left, while misspelling your attempts at a chat-up line rounds off the top reasons to resist that charm.
