Ahead of the film release of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, J.K. Rowling has announced the release of four-part series, The History of Magic.
The series will debut on fan site Pottermore and it will focus on wizardry in the United States, namely the US Ministry of Magic and Ilvermorny, aka American Hogwarts.
E Online reports that the first story will land on March 8th (TOMORROW) at 9am and it’s expected that Newt Scamander, a name familiar to Harry Potter lovers, will also feature.
The History of Magic is reportedly set 70 years before the Harry Potter series and Rowling is believed to have tackled a number of topics in the book, including the Salem Witch Trials and Native American legends.
