‘Tis the season of goodwill and what better way for an Irish hotel to spread festive cheer, than offering an overnight stay for two to one lucky winner.
Folk at The Westbury Hotel were feeling festive and decided they would share some love with the general public.
General Manager, Vincent O’ Gorman, took to the hotel’s Facebook page and announced that they were holding a competition to celebrate the season.
Vincent requested for people to send on their idea of the “perfect Christmassy day in Dublin,” and he would select a worthy winner on the 23rd of December.
Kate Hatton decided she would share her perfect day in Dublin with Vincent and anyone else who was connected to The Westbury Hotel Facebook page, and well, her entry is pretty amazing.
Kate would begin her day with a McMuffin from the eurosaver menu in McDonald’s on Grafton Street and finish up her evening in the “world famous establishment” Copper Face Jacks.
“I’ll spend the rest of my perfect evening trying to capture a desperate farmer with preferably 100 acres… I will bring him back to the Westbury and make short work of the egyptian cotton sheets.”
Folks, there isn’t really any point in entering, Kate Hatton has this one in a brown paper bag alongside her Dutch Gold.
