This Bride’s Picture is Going Viral For A Very Good Reason

This is pretty spectacular

When most people dream of their special day they plan the food, seating chart and floral arrangements.

They hope and pray an uncle doesn’t get too drunk and handsy, a bridesmaid doesn’t get too emotional and that the chicken isn’t bland.

They don’t picture themselves going viral after a car accident but for one Tennessee bride that is exactly what happened.

Paramedic Sarah Ray got a call after she said her “I dos” that her father and grandmother were involved in a car crash as they left the church to head to her wedding’s reception. Ray explained to News Channel 5 that her family came from out of town and she was worried about them driving unfamiliar roads. “I was scared on the way there,” she said. The incident was caused by a driver running a red light.

Ray’s mother is the one that took the now-viral photo, and explains she loves it because it really shows Ray’s true self. “I love this photo because it shows her character and accentuates her beauty,” Martin explained.

The bride is being touted as a hero, but to her, that was just another day on the job. “Anybody in the EMS field would’ve done the same thing. I don’t know if what I did was special but I was in a wedding dress,” she said.
