A new poll has revealed the top five excuses women use to avoid sexytime on holidays.
And some of them are very… creative.
The survey, conducted by dating site Victoria Milan, found that almost three quarters of women report that their sex lives heat up when they jet off to the sun.
But it turns out that more sex often means more excuses, with 65 per cent of women surveyed admitting that they make excuses to avoid intimacy with their partners.
Here are the top five excuses.
1. It’s too hot
With almost 20 per cent of women interviewed admitting to using this little nugget, it is the most popular excuse not to have sex.
2. I think I have food poisoning.
Seventeen per cent of women vouched for the effectiveness of this one.
3. I had too much to drink.
This is a favourite for 16 per cent of those interviewed.
4. I can’t make love after seeing you looking at other girls in bikinis.
A bit of a tenuous one but 13.5 per cent of women say they’ve said it. Got to admire their creativity.
5. I’m sunburned.
Eleven per cent of women have used this one to avoid the dirty dance of life.
